Who Decided What Normal Means?

Why do we accept "normal" as if it were a law of nature? Who decided what it means — and who gave them that authority? A short reflection on the life we are told to want, and the freedom that begins the moment we stop performing it. Common does not mean true. Society repeats behaviour for generations — repetition becomes tradition, tradition becomes expectation, expectation becomes truth. Then one day you stop and ask: is this really my life, or am I performing a life I was taught to want? This is a fact to recognize, not a teaching to believe. Follow the message. Not the messenger.
