We spend years chasing freedom like it is something we have to earn. A goal. A finish line. A state we reach after enough meditation, enough solitude, enough sitting. But here is the truth the mind does not want you to hear. Freedom is a joke you believe. The punchline is that you were never bound. The person who wants to be free does not exist. That person is a thought. A feeling. A familiar sense of me that comes and goes. We are not trying to reach reality. We are reality. So who is locked up? No one. That is the whole joke.
