Buy these clothes and feel attractive. Buy this holiday and feel alive. Money may not buy happiness directly — but it buys comfort, safety, and opportunity. The real absurdity is that we keep buying because we expect the next thing to finally make us happy. And when the feeling fades, we don't question it. We just buy something else.
