Why do we obsess over the person pointing at the truth — and never look at what they are pointing to? People keep asking me what I think of this philosopher or that one. But my opinion about another person is only my opinion. It does not make the truth more true, or less true. If I tell you I like someone, what have you gained? If I tell you I dislike someone, what have you discovered about reality? Nothing. You have only replaced your own judgment with mine. In this talk, I share why I don't want followers, why I will never start an ashram or a movement, and why the only question that matters is whether you can see the truth for yourself.
