The freedom is not in being someone. You see, most of us live with a quiet assumption that feels completely real: I am someone, or this someone wants to be seen, appreciated, loved, remembered, and things like that. It wants to matter. It fears being ignored, rejected, or forgotten. Right? But the thing is very different, actually. It is very unsettling for the mind. Sometimes the "you" you believe yourself to be does not actually exist as a separate entity. At first, this may sound a little harsh or even disturbing for the ego. If there is no "you," then who is living the life, or who is feeling lonely? Who is seeking love? You see, to understand this, we need to look closely at something called "me" or the "I." Think of a character in a movie. The character has a name, a personality, a
