We feel very certain that we know what we want… our goals, our desires, our choices all seem personal and meaningful. But when we look closely, we begin to see that many of these desires were not born within us. They were shaped by society, by what we were taught to value, and by what we constantly see around us. Slowly, these influences become our voice, and we start believing they are truly ours. At the same time, our mind is not as in control as we think. Often, a decision happens first, and then the mind creates a reason to justify it. So it feels like we are choosing, but we are mostly explaining. If we look even deeper… we see that many desires are driven by fear, not joy. We chase things to escape discomfort, not to find real peace. And even when we succeed, the satisfaction fade
