Happiness Is For Animals And Not Us
We chase happiness like animals chase food. But we are not animals. A full stomach and a warm bed do not settle us. Something else is restless inside. That is because we are too intelligent to be satisfied with simple pleasures, yet not intelligent enough to live without absolute meaning. So we are trapped. Animals do not ask why they exist. They just eat, sleep, and rest. But we cannot. We imagine better pleasures than the one we have. We doubt every meaning we build, because our own intelligence tears it apart. No career, no love, no belief survives the question “but does it last?” That is the human condition. We cannot go back to the circle of enough. We cannot climb to certainty. We hang in between. That discomfort is permanent. Stop running from it. Build your small loves anyway. Fi
