There is no such thing as deep listening. That's the hard truth for your spiritual awakening journey. The mind is a machine—it judges constantly. When you try to practice mindfulness or meditation, you're using the mind to watch the mind. That's like hiring a thief as a security guard. Most people chase self-improvement through inner peace techniques. But the path of nonduality says something radical: the listener doesn't exist. You are not the voice inside your head trying to be present. You are the screen, not the movie. Here is the method for true self-inquiry. Instead of trying to hear the universe, turn inward. Ask: "Who wants to listen?" Hunt that "I" until it disappears. When the listener dies, what remains? Not enlightenment as a reward. Just reality. Aware. But with nobody home
