You Are The Prison And The Lie

We are the ones who built the prison and the ones who believe we are trapped inside it. There is a separate self fighting for freedom. That fighter does not exist. The mind tells us we need to escape, to break through, to reach some better state. But the one who longs for liberation is the same phantom that constructed the cage. Without that phantom, there is no prisoner. Without the seeker, there is no seeking. We are not trying to become free. We are reality itself, and reality was never bound. The tragedy is not our suffering. The tragedy is that we cherish the illusion of a sufferer. Sit alone. In silence. Let the phantom dissolve on its own.
