What if the fear of wasting life is the very thing wasting it?

We fear wasting life while wasting most of our life. What if the fear of wasting your life is the very thing wasting it? In this talk, I explore one of the greatest absurdities of being human — that we spend so much of our limited time worrying about whether we're using it "correctly" that we never actually live it. We've confused activity with meaning. A man can work twelve hours a day, build a company, become successful, and still spend his entire existence running away from himself. A treadmill runner is exhausted, sweating, extremely busy — and standing in exactly the same place. That is modern life in a single image. This is not a teaching to believe. It is a fact to recognize. Timestamps: 0:00 — The paradox of fearing a wasted life 1:40 — What does it really mean to waste life? 3
