Reality is not hiding. It is not waiting for you in a special state or a quiet mind. It is the ground beneath every thought, every feeling, every spiritual experience you have ever had. Nothing appears outside of it. We stop dressing up the ego in spiritual clothes. Most seeking is just the same sense of a separate self, now wearing fancier costumes. Meditation, presence, awareness practice. All of it becomes a new wardrobe for the old ghost. We look directly at how the mind avoids its own dissolution by becoming a seeker instead of seeing what is already here. You are already free. The seeking is the bondage.
